EVENTS ON OCCASION OF THE WORLD BICYCLE DAY IN ANKARA, PARIS AND TASHKENT
On occasion of the World Bicycle Day, declared by the UN General Assembly in 2018 on the initiative of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the Embassy of our country in the Republic of Turkey organized a bike ride in “Turkmenistan” Park in Ankara.
Turkmen students, getting education in Ankara universities, the representatives of the administration of the Turkish capital, and the media participated in the event.
The 10-km bike ride finished near the monuments to Turkmen poet and thinker Magtymguly, erected in the park complex.

The Embassy of Turkmenistan in France organized a bike ride in honor of the World Cycling Day, which was attended by the representatives of the diplomatic mission and members of their families, representatives of the Turkmen diaspora, as well as some embassies accredited in Paris. Memorable gifts were presented to all participants of the bike ride.

The Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Uzbekistan organized a 5-km bike ride in Tashkent. The festive event was attended by the specialists of the diplomatic mission, representatives of the Turkmen youth studying in universities of Uzbekistan, as well as members of the Turkmen diaspora.
