THE EMBASSY OF TURKMENISTAN IN GEORGIA ORGANIZES BIKE RIDE ON OCCASION OF THE WORLD BICYCLE DAY

On June 2, at the Olympic Sports Center in Tbilisi, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Georgia, with the assistance of the Georgian Cycling Federation, organized a bike ride dedicated to the World Bicycle Day.
Representatives of the Georgian Cycling Federation, athletes and coaches took part in the sports event.
Addressing the participants of the sports event, Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Georgia, Dovletmurat Muratov emphasized that the World Cycling Day, which widely celebrated all around the world, was established by the Resolution of the UN General Assembly on the initiative of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
According to the President of Turkmenistan, this holiday embodies such enduring values as peace and solidarity, health and good spirits, and opens up wide opportunities for promoting sports and cooperation in this area.
The participants of the bike ride were unanimous in their opinion that this sports event had contributed to strengthening the ties of friendship and cooperation between the two countries and promoting the principles of a healthy lifestyle.
